Data security
The secure and stable operation of our applications has the highest priority. Our infrastructure is built for the requirements of e-governance and public administration.
Hosting is provided by Hetzner Online GmbH in ISO/IEC 27001-certified data centers in Germany (Nuremberg and Falkenstein/Vogtland). The legal basis is a data processing agreement according to Art. 28 GDPR.
Certification
The data centers used meet high international standards:
- ISO/IEC 27001:2022: internationally recognized certification for a structured information security management system (ISMS).
- Germany-only data processing under GDPR and German law.
- Regular audits of technical and organizational measures by external auditors.
Network and physical security
A multi-layer protection concept secures the availability and integrity of your data:
- DDoS protection with real-time attack detection and hardware-based traffic scrubbing via Arbor and Juniper.
- Redundant power and connectivity to major internet exchange points.
- Physical access control via RFID/biometrics, 24/7 video surveillance, and modern fire detection systems.
Sustainability
We pay attention to the environmental footprint of our services. The infrastructure is operated with 100% renewable electricity.
